Anyone with a Twater account can apply. We verify real people, businesses, brands, creators, and public figures. Novelty or parody accounts are not eligible.

Verification is $10 per year. This fee helps fund the platform and keeps Twater independent and ad-free. Payment is only collected after your application is approved — we'll send instructions to your account email.

For personal accounts: A clear photo of you holding your Driver's License or a business card so both your face and the document are visible.

For business accounts: A photo of you standing in front of your business premises, or a photo of you holding your business card clearly next to your face.

Your photo is only viewed by our moderation team and is never shared publicly.

Most applications are reviewed within a few business days. You'll be able to see the status on your profile page. If approved, the badge appears instantly. If declined, you're welcome to reapply.

Yes. Verification can be revoked if you violate Twater's community guidelines, change your identity in a misleading way, or let your annual payment lapse.

When your account is set to private, only approved followers can see your twats. Everyone else sees your name, handle, and avatar with a padlock icon.

Visit their profile and use the Block or Report buttons. You can also report individual posts using the ··· menu on any post.
